This week has been pretty uneventful which is good! The kids did start getting
their immunizations this week--ouch! I just realized that instead of putting on numbing cream before their shots that I had accidently put on ointment for itching!
At least we tried! Thankfully we'll have a break for a few months now with that. Everyone has a clean bill of health (except for Isaac's giardia)
They did great at the dentist too. I'm amazed they don't have any cavities or other issues with their teeth. They did a great job teaching them to brush their teeth at the orphanage! They brush like nobodies business :)
Isaac makes his bed everyday. Again kuddos to the nannies! I'm trying to teach everyone to do the same!
The boys have been playing hours the last few days with their wooden train set. It's quite the set up and has been the source of many "teachable moments".
Isaac will be turning 8 on March 15th...and Caleb will be turning 9 on March 19th.
I'm trying to figure out how to make Isaac's first b-day here special (probably the
only b-day he's ever celebrated!) Caleb has been counting down the days until his b-day.
We'll be celebrating Ellie's 13th b-day on April 8th. Carsen's 4th b-day on April 16And Marie will turn 10 on April 20th. Five birtthdays in about a month! Better start shopping now :)
My parents will be coming next week to help celebrate the boys' birthdays. That will be the first time of really getting to spend time with all the kids. They were at the airport when we came home but left pretty quickly after that. They had been here 13 nights with all five kids while we were in Liberia. There was another storm coming our way so they were hoping to beat it home.
