Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us”.
I would much rather think about the next thing or worry that someone else should change than take a close look at my heart.
This New Year there are many things I want to change and improve on....but the biggest, most important thing is my relationship and time spent with Jesus. All the other things are really trivial and distractions compared to spending time with Him. He will change me from the inside out. Something I can never do on my own.
Because in the end...nothing else will matter except who I am in Him and what I do because of Him.
